Waterlox Original Satin Finish applies easily and protects the durability and inherent beauty of wood. Designed for use on interior wood surfaces including floors, stairs, countertops, windows, cabinetry, and other woodworking projects, Waterlox Original Satin Finish provides a low-gloss, satin sheen when used with Waterlox Original Sealer and Finish.
Features and Benefits:
• To be used in conjunction with Waterlox Original Sealer & Finish (which creates a protective barrier)
• Enhances natural character and beauty of the wood
• Water-resistant and non-toxic (when fully dried/cured)
• Low-gloss, Satin sheen
• 90% of the resin portion of the formula is from renewable, natural resources
Product Details, Uses, & Tips:
• Waterlox Satin Finish is designed as the top coat portion of the Waterlox Original finishing system which performs best over bare wood.
• Waterlox Satin Finish can be used as a finish coat for a satin finish on all interior wood projects including floors, wood countertops, windows, doors, cabinetry, woodwork, tables, furniture, bar tops, picture frames, gun stocks, and various woodworking projects.
• Applies easily with a lambswool applicator (floors), quality China bristle brush, or one recommended for use with oil-based paints. Sanding is not necessary between coats for adhesion purposes.
• When finished, it renders a hand-rubbed appearance in a satin sheen (20-25° gloss).
• It contains a flattening agent, which can settle to the bottom of the can. Stir contents thoroughly before and during use
• Allow at least 24 hours of drying time between coats. Use proper ventilation and air circulation.
Sample Bottles
• We highly recommend that you try a sample of any new stain color you are considering. The finished color of translucent stains can vary substantially based on species, texture, porosity of wood, and application technique. Sampling on your own wood is inexpensive and the best way to make sure you get the color you want for your home.

Stain Type Refers to how this stain was designed to work. Coatings form a flexible solid barrier on the outside of the surface to protect from the outside-in. Deep penetrating oils normally do not form a surface barrier and protect from the inside-out.
