Timberlok Structural Wood Screws
Details
FastenMaster TimberLOK Wood Screws allow for quick and easy installation for a variety of wood framing uses. TimberLOK works without needing a pre-drilled pilot hole, and its self-countersinking design ensures the screw heads will sink below the surface of the wood and nothing sticks out above. Commonly used for rafter and truss to top plate connections, TimberLOK screws come in a variety of lengths & packaging sizes and can be used for various applications.
Features and Benefits:
• Requires no pre-drilling
• Self-countersinking design provides a flush installation
• Removable and reusable
• Greatly reduced labor time and lower cost versus lag bolts
• Engineered for increased strength, performance, and holding power
• Corrosion-resistant (ACQ approved)
• IBC/IRC code compliant (ICC-ES ESR-1078)
• Free bit to match hex heads in every package
Product Uses & Applications:
TimberLOK is available in a variety of lengths and packaging sizes for applications such as attaching rafter or trusses to the top plate, landscape timbers, fences, decks, headers, stair stringers, and more.
Performance:
TimberLOK is guaranteed not to corrode or rust for the lifetime of the project (when used properly according to the installation instructions). The fastener coating has been tested in
wood treatment chemicals, such as ACQ, and is found to provide equal protection to code-approved hot-dipped galvanized coatings. TimberLOK is not recommended for use within 1000 feet of saltwater, and stainless steel fasteners are recommended for use in those cases.
