Sikkens Cetol Log and Siding is a high-performance translucent exterior stain for log homes. This alkyd high solids formulation offers optimum protection and a premium look in just two coats.

Sikkens Cetol Log and Siding’s two-coat satin finish creates a protective film that gives siding and logs a premium furniture-like finish that allows all the natural characteristics and gain of the wood to show through. The product creates a durable surface barrier to prevent wood from weathering.

• Cetol Log & Siding can be used on logs, siding, trim, garage doors, cedar, fir, pine, spruce, and redwood.

Sikkens Cetol Log and Siding Coverage
• Sikkens Cetol Log and Siding covers 350-450 sq. ft./gallon on smooth wood and 175–225 sq. ft./gallon on rough wood.

Sikkens Cetol Log and Siding Instructions
• Apply using a long-haired natural bristle brush or airless sprayer using a .011 - .013 tip size @ 1200 - 1700 psi.
• Second coat may be sprayed, if back brushed.
• Drying Time – 24 hours minimum at 68°F and 65% relative humidity. At temperatures below 50º F (10º C) or conditions of high humidity the drying time will be extended.
• Allow 24 hours between each coat of Cetol Log & Siding.
• Clean up: Mineral spirits.
• During application, moisture content of wood substrate should not exceed 18%.
• Do not apply when rain, dew, or frost are forecast within five (5) hours of application.
• Brush on a liberal coat and maintain a wet edge to prevent lap marks.
