Transformation Log & Timber Coverage Rate
• 1st Coat: 150-300 sq. ft./gal.
• 2nd coat: 250-450 sq. ft./gal.
• As with all stains, coverage will vary depending upon roughness of the wood.

Transformation Log & Timber Application Instructions
• Apply Transformation Log & Timber when the surface temperature is 40°F (4°C) and rising to 90°F (32°C) and falling.
• Do not apply to surfaces in direct intense sunlight, since the surfaces can be too hot.
• Application and curing below the minimum or maximum surface temperature risks water damage or poor penetration into the wood.
• The first coat of Transformation Log & Timber should be allowed to thoroughly dry for 24 hours (possibly longer in cold and/or humid weather).
• Once thoroughly dry, follow with a lighter second coat. If desired, apply a third coat for a higher gloss.
• The second coat should only be applied once the first coat is thoroughly dry in order to ensure proper film formation and UV protection from the stain, as well as give it a light gloss.
• Do not apply to surfaces in direct intense sunlight, since the surfaces can be too hot.
• Brushing Transformation stain into your wood will help promote better adhesion thus giving Transformation stain more durability.
• Spraying Transformation stain followed by back brushing can be used to speed up the process. When using this method, flood the surface of the wood while spraying.
• Clean up: Brushes and equipment should be cleaned with mineral spirits.
• Compatibility: Transformation Log & Timber is recommended for use with all other Sashco products. It was specifically formulated and tested to be compatible with a wide range of stains, caulking and chinking products.
• Within the first 12-18 months after Transformation Log & Timber is first applied, it is important to inspect the building to see if any areas did not receive an adequate amount of stain. If you locate such areas, simply clean the surfaces with damp rags or bristle brushes to remove dirt, pollen, etc., and then apply more Transformation Log & Timber.
