Cascade Clear Exterior Preservative is a clear, exterior water repellent—the finishing top coat of Sashco’s Capture/Cascade staining system. Cascade provides added exterior protection against damaging UV rays, molds and fungi. It dries with a modest sheen and adds depth to the appearance of stained logs.

Sashco Cascade Coverage Rate
• 300-600 sq. ft. per gallon
• As with all stains, coverage will vary depending upon roughness and porosity of the wood.

Sashco Cascade Application Instructions
• Apply Cascade when the temperature is 40°F and rising to 90° and falling.
• In severe conditions (under 40°F and/or 70%+ humidity), full rain resistance may take longer.
• Cover exterior walls with plastic if rainfall or snowfall is expected within 24 hours after application.
• Clean up: Soap and water.
• Dry time: Cascade dries to touch in 30 minutes or less in ideal weather.
• Check that the pigmented coat of Capture Log Stain is firm and set.
• Thoroughly stir Cascade before application to clean, stained, exterior logs.
• Use a garden sprayer or airless paint sprayer to apply and brush out runs.
