UV Guard Premium Caulk Application Information
• Weatherall UV Guard Premium Caulk can be applied using a commercial pump or caulking gun (bulk loading, air-powered or standard gun).
• For best results, cured beads should be between 1/8” - 1/2” wide and 1/8” – 1/4” deep.
• For joints that exceed 1/4” width, install a polyethylene, closed-cell backer rod before caulking.
• Weatherall UV Guard Premium Caulk skins over within 30 minutes and will be completely cured within 48 hours under normal conditions.
• Weatheall UV Guard Premium Caulk should not be applied when temperatures are below 40° F., or when subfreezing temperatures are expected within 48 hours of application.
• Avoid application in the rain or when rain is imminent.
• Clean up: Clean uncured Weatherall UV Guard Premium Caulk immediately from tools, hands and equipment with soap and water.
