Sikkens Cetol Maintenance is a premium clear exterior finish to be used over existing Sikkens Cetol 23 Plus or Sikkens Cetol Log & Siding as a maintenance coat. Typically, with maintenance coats, pigmented products will further darken the wood. With a one coat application of Sikkens Cetol Maintenance, the wood will retain the same look and color.

Sikkens Cetol Maintenance Coverage
• Sikkens Cetol Maintenance covers 300-400 sq. ft./gallon on smooth wood and 150–225 sq. ft./gallon on rough wood.
Sikkens Cetol Maintenance Application Instructions
• Sikkens Cetol Maintenace can be applied using a long haired natural bristle brush or sprayed (when backbrushed) using
.011-.013 tip at 1000-1500 psi.
• Drying Time – 24 hours minimum at 68°F and 65% relative humidity.
• Sikkens Cetol Maintenance needs UV light to cure properly. The absence of UV light will significantly slow the drying
process.
• During application, the moisture content of the wood should not exceed 18%.
• Do not apply Sikkens Cetol Maintenance when wet weather conditions or frost/dew are forecasted within 5 hours of application.
• Clean-up: Mineral spirits.

Cetol Maintenance RE, the reduced-emission version of Cetol Maintenance, will be sent when shipping to one of the following restricted areas.
- Cetol Maintenance RE should be used in place of Cetol Maintenance for the following states: CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, and N.E. Corner of Virginia (Counties - Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Spotsylvania & Stafford; Cities - Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Fredericksburg, Manassas, & Manassas Park). Cetol Maintenance RE is only available in the above mentioned areas.
