Sikkens Cetol 23 Plus offers superior UV protection, and is highly transparent, water repellent, weather resistant, flexible, and breathable.

• Sikkens Cetol 23 Plus may be used in conjunction with Sikkens Cetol 1 as a protective topcoat for exterior wood.
• Sikkens Cetol 23 Plus is normally used as the last one (1) or two (2) coats in the Cetol 1 and Cetol 23 Plus system.

Sikkens Cetol 23 Application Instructions
• Apply using a long-haired natural bristle brush or airless
sprayer using a .011 - .013 tip size @ 1200 - 1700 psi.
• Cleaning of Equipment- Paint thinner or mineral spirits.
• Sikkens Cetol 23 Finish is recoatable in 24 hours minimum at 68ºF (20ºC) and 65% relative humidity.
• Brush on a liberal coat and maintain a wet edge to prevent lap marks.
• During application, moisture content of wood substrate should not exceed 18%.
• Do not apply when rain, dew, or frost are forecast within five (5) hours of application.

Sikkens Cetol 23 Use Restrictions
Cetol 23 RE, the reduced-emission version of Cetol 23, will be sent when shipping to one of the following restricted areas.

• Cetol 23 RE should be used in place of Cetol 23 for the following states: CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, and N.E. Corner of Virginia (Counties - Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Spotsylvania & Stafford; Cities - Alexandria, Fairfax, Falls Church, Fredericksburg, Manassas, & Manassas Park). Cetol 23 RE is only available in the above mentioned areas.
